Day 30: Sweet Relief

I can't believe I actually finished something. I never finish anything! It's my most tragic flaw. Yes, it took me forever, was a pain in the ass and I missed my other clothes, but I persevered for once and I feel good about that.

Strangely enough, I felt like I could keep going. I wore many more outfits from these items than what I've actually photographed, just that some days I didn't get around to taking pictures of myself. This one I thought was boring but I was going to church and this is the only skirt I have that doesn't make me feel like I might accidentally flash the choir. Jesus would approve.

Jacket: Smart Set

Tank: Calvin Klein

Leggings, skirt: Old Navy

Boots: Aldo

I nearly forgot! I was wearing the thin, white cable-knit sweater under this jacket when I went to church, but I didn't have time beforehand to take pictures. Then when I got home I spilled and stained my sweater so badly with salsa that I probably will have to get rid of it now, so I had to change shirts and I figured that the white tank would suffice. Such is my life. White is not white for long around me or the spawn.

Day 29: Almost, Not Quite!

Oh my gosh. One more after this! One more until I can put away the portable closet-rack thingy with all of the 30 for 30 items on it and have that spot on my floor all to myself again! Also, shopping! Getting to wear other stuff again, and maybe even taking pictures of that stuff too will be wonderful as well. Mama has her eye on a new pair of Jeffrey Campbells, and she promised herself that she'd wait until after the challenge was over to spring for them. She also talks about herself in the third person.

I have no idea what is up with this face, but at least it's honest?

I always feel more like myself in platforms, structured jackets, and some flares. I wanted a trench coat and a beret though, because I felt like I should have looked more French. Plus tard, peut-être, non?

Day 28: A.K.A : Let's Get On With This, Shall We?

Oh. My. Gosh. How long has this taken me? This was supposed to be a Fall 30 for 30, and I've stretched it out all through the winter and in some places, people are beginning spring. Not me though. Nope. It's been snowing for approximately 678 days, give or take a few (hundred).

I'm almost done! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Granted, I haven't really been dressing much lately... I seem to have a fierce aversion to clothes of any kind quite recently, save for perhaps camis, frilly knickers and yoga gear, but there is no way that I'm ever going to be showing pictures of that.

This is the infamous blogger's "I have to pee!" pose:

Shirt: Old Navy

Skinnies: Guess

Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell Lita

Belt: Le Chateau

Bracelets: Oh, pretty much everywhere.

I felt huge in this outfit, so I'm pretty sure it will never be worn again. I'm so ready to scrap my skinny jeans, especially since I've gained hella winter weight this year and spring does not seem very forthcoming! I want skirts with bare legs. And sandals! Ooh, sandals how I've missed you!
