White Out

My son saw me wearing this and laughed, then he pointed at me and yelled at his friends on the playground, "Ha! Look at my mom!" He failed to elaborate as to why I looked so funny, but in my opinion it was the shoes. This is my first time wearing an oxford with anything other than pants, coupled with my first time wearing all white. I thought these were the only pair of white shoes I own which is why I grabbed them this morning, but right now I'm sitting here looking at my shoe rack and can see at least three others. I'll have to try this whole white-thing again sometime, it was shocking to me that I didn't end up getting splattered with mud, food, or something child-related.

Beware The Open Mouth Poseur

This blogging thing... My gosh, what self-criticism it inspires! If I didn't laugh it off I could just sit here listing off things that are wrong with myself using these photos as evidence! Then I remember that I'm a real person with a real body and no photoshop, and that I'm not going to play that game. Nope.

Super Stripes Week: Day 6

This is my last stripe day. I could keep going, but the challenge was for a week and I don't want to be a nerd. Too much...

I'm all mysterious here because I took these outside and it was too bright to look at the camera, not because I'm thinking I'm all bad ass in my roller derby socks and my fedora.

*Somebody* told me that this skirt is indecently short, and that I might as well not even be wearing a skirt at all. I was thinking of passing it on only because it's starting to look more and more like acid wash every time I launder it, but now that I know it's indecently short I think I just may hold on to it.
